The most beautiful village

Located 10km from Sarlat, the village Beynac-et-Cazenac is recognizable by its imposing castle. The latter was once the scene of several wars between the Lords of the fortress (allied to the King of France) and the Lords of Castelnaud Castle (allied with the King of England).

Ranked among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, the village of Beynac-et-Cazenac is located on the cliffs of the Dordogne.
A unique charm, the castle of Beynac is among the best preserved in the region. Of medieval construction, it overlooks the river Dordogne and dominates the Bourg on its right bank.

Canoeing on the Dordogne

Along the 120 kilometers of descent, from Argentat to Beynac, discover varied landscapes: wooded hills of Corrèze, limestone cliffs of the Lot, castles of the Dordogne.
